Incredible gaming nostalgia spot Sharing nostalgia with the grandkids in an amazing gaming arcade was a highlight of the year! Walking in from the modest shop front to discover a "gaming Narnia" was extraordinary. This place is a gem that perfectly blends retro and modern experiences, with a huge variety of games to enjoy. As someone in my 50s, it took me back to my childhood, and it was great to create new memories with my grandkids here. Truly excellent value. Don't miss it before prices rise!Posted on Google

We recently held our children’s birthday party here for a group of 9 and 10-year-olds, and it was a huge success. The selection of games was excellent, with a great mix of retro classics and modern favourites. From shoot-'em-ups to driving simulators, there was something for everyone, regardless of age or gaming experience. The arcade is spread across three floors, giving the children plenty of space to explore and play without feeling crowded. Alongside the arcade machines, the air hockey and table football tables were a massive hit. There was a dedicated party room for food, drinks and birthday cake. We only booked for an hour, but we could easily have stayed longer as there was plenty to enjoy. The children had a fantastic time from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it for children's parties or passing an hour on a rainy day.Posted on Google
Mark D.13 days agoExceptional. Absolutely brilliant and unique place. I enjoy retro arcades; this place had both retro games and the very latest modern video games that I've never seen nor played. They had very slick and immaculate graphics, on huge screens. Loads of different rooms with different games in there. I think there's pretty much something for everyone, spread over three floors, whether retro-gamer or modern-gamer. Racing games, classic 'beat 'em ups', racing games, 'shoot-em ups' and a lot of four player games such as Mario Kart. £8.50 for one hour, unlimited play on all games. I gave it a try, not knowing what to expect, but I was totally blown-away and the 60 minutes just flew-by. Option to pay the extra £4 for another hour. Love the dark ambience in there too and the fact there were lots of little different rooms. The sounds coming from one of the zombie games were amazing and atmospheric. Please keep the rooms as they are and don't be tempted to 'knock it all through' to make one big room. I love the set-up as it is.Posted on Google
Christopher Bowes21 days agoHad a great time at Arcade Time Machine. There’s a brilliant selection of old-school arcade games to choose from, and it was great fun getting stuck into some classics. Really good value for money too. Definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to!Posted on Google
Rightthenso !21 days agoI just had a fantastic couple of hours here, and honestly, it’s a brilliant place. There’s something for everyone. I can easily imagine a dad bringing his son along and the two of them spending the day playing retro games together. It would also make for a really fun and slightly different date night for couples. There was a guy and a girl there and they where having a great laugh. As for me, I spent the afternoon blasting through Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Mega Drive, and I absolutely loved it. Next time I’m here, I’ll probably give Mario a go and maybe Sonic & Knuckles. The whole setup is fantastic, and the guys running the place couldn’t be friendlier. Theres a mind blowing amount of games available. I’ll definitely be back!+2Posted on Facebook

Karen Baldwin41 days agoWe had a fantastic time celebrating my son’s 9th birthday at Arcade Time Machine! 🎮 The retro arcade games were a big hit and the kids absolutely loved having so many different games to choose from. It was something a little different from a traditional birthday party too. The parents also enjoyed a dose of gaming nostalgia! The party was well organised with use of a dedicated party room for the kids to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience easy and stress free. We would definitely recommend the Arcade Time Machine for a birthday party. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Posted on Facebook

Daniel Bowes46 days agoGreat place, you pay per hour rather than having coin operated machines but you get great value. Lots of variation whether it be arcade classics or emulators for old consoles like the megadrive or SNES. Definitely scratches that nostalgia itch. Highly recommend, looking forward to going backPosted on Google

Harrison Bradshaw-Dixon48 days agoGreat time here! Probably over 80 arcade machines here, all of them with unlimited credits so you can play as many times as you want in your time slot. Great environment with cheap snacks downstairs too so that's a bonus! All together it's a great day out and I would recommend it to anyone who likes arcade games in the slightest.Posted on Facebook

James McCue55 days agoAmazing! Time travel back to the 80’s and 90’s with a huge selection of games decked out with arcade style controls, racing and flight sim controls. Really enjoyed my first trip here this afternoon, I felt like I was 10 again! Plus the prices for entry and refreshments are way less than you’d think.Posted on Facebook
